the basics
A quick explanation of why wisdom teeth are troublesome
Wisdom teeth are the third set of molars that typically come in during your late teens or early twenties. Most mouths simply don’t have room for them, which is why they so often cause problems.
Crowding, pain, infection, or coming in at the wrong angle entirely. Not everyone needs them removed. But when they do need to come out, waiting usually makes things more complicated.

The warning signs
Signs it might be time
Treatment depends on how far things have progressed. Here's what we offer:

01
Pain or pressure
Especially if it comes and goes or has been building over time.

02
Gum swelling & pain
Around where a wisdom tooth is coming or has partially erupted.
03
Crowding
If your other teeth seem to be shifting, wisdom teeth could be the cause.

04
Issue with the X-ray
Sometimes there’s no pain yet, but the tooth is clearly going to be a problem.
If you're experiencing any of these, it's worth coming in. We'll take a look and give you a straight answer on whether extraction makes sense.

What recovery looks like
Most people feel back to normal within a few days to a week. Some swelling and soreness in the first day or two is normal. We'll send you home with clear aftercare instructions so you know exactly what to do and what to watch for.
If something doesn't feel right after your extraction, call us. We'd rather you check in than worry about it.

Cost & Financing
What it costs
It depends on the complexity and your insurance coverage. We go over all of that before scheduling anything. Financing is available through Sunbit and CareCredit if you need it.
